Anambra 2021: INEC fists up certificate of return to Soludo

Professor Charles Soludo, the newly elected governor of Anambra State, receives his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday (INEC).

Nkwachukwu Orji, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Anambra State, delivered the certificate to Soludo and his Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

Orji urged the triumphant duo to instill good administration and democratic principles in Anambra State.

Following the occasion, Soludo committed to serve the people of Anambra to the best of his ability, thanking God for the chance.

“I have endured and remained focused on the mission for the past 12 years. Nigeria, I’ve served the world, and now it’s time for me to serve my own state. I am grateful to God, stakeholders and most importantly, the people of Anambra State. I am humbled by this mandate, which is overwhelming despite the problems,” Soludo added.
