Anambra Youths raids unknown gunmen hideout

The Youths of Anambra State sets to take back their land from Criminal elements, raids kidnapper’s hideout and burns shrine.

Anambra State Governor said that hoodlums masquerading as agitators of IPOB  can no longer continue their terrible acts.

Soludo went further to give amnesty to these groups if they renounced their heinous deeds.

He promised to rehabilitate them and aid them in resuming a more meaningful new life.

The governor further said that anybody who refused to accept this olive branch would be regarded as a criminal.

“IPOB has also condemned the activities of these criminals”.

“Ndi Anambra are all in agreement with Governor Soludo to take back Anambra from these hoodlums”.

Reports have it that the youths of Ichi, in Ekwusigo LGA, destroyed a suspected kidnappers’ hideout in the community.

The group who stormed the camp on Sunday also set ablaze a shrine in the area.

A source said the youths decided to stop the activities of criminal elements in the community.

He also noted the criminals have been killing, maiming and destroying the economic life of the people.

He added, “The youth seized some criminal elements in the Ichi community. These hoodlums are behind the killings and abductions of residents. The angry youths also set their shrine ablaze on Monday.”

A video circulated on social media showing the moment the group swooped on the camp on Sunday.

The action of the gallant youths has received wide commendations, especially on social media platforms.

The generality of Ndi Anambra has already thrown its full weight behind Governor Soludo on his genuine efforts to rid Anambra State of all criminal elements masquerading as agitators.
