Concerned about the continued rise in the number of unemployed youths in Anambra, a non-governmental organization (NGO), Anambra State Equity Alliance (ANSEA), has urged Governor-elect Chukwuma Soludo to resurrect dormant industries in the state and create jobs for the youths when he takes office.
Emenike, the Anambra South zone ANSEA coordinator, also urged the Governor-elect to review the revenue collection system for commercial vehicle operators, pointing out that there are allegedly a lot of them who collect money from operators.
He claimed that a unified revenue collection system would prevent the diversion of funds intended for the government.
“We extend our congratulations to Soludo and we urge him to revive the state’s dormant industries and review the state’s revenue collection system from commercial vehicle operators,” Emenike said.
