The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full – time postgraduate award that enables talented young people from around the world to study at Oxford University.
The Rhodes Trust is an educational charity that brings together and develops exceptional people who are impatient with the way things are and have the courage to act. Rhodes Scholarships were awarded to 20 constituencies (representing 60 countries). All applicants must have attained a sufficiently high academic standing to ensure completion of a bachelor’s degree.

Entry Requirements: The following eligibility criteria apply to all Rhodes Scholarship applicants:
Citizenship & residency: You must meet the citizenship / residency requirements in one of the Rhodes constituencies –
Age: On 1 October 2022, you must be at least 18 and have not reached your 24th birthday (i.e., you must have been born after 1 October 1998 and on or before 1 October 2004).
Education: Applicants must have a First Honors Degree or equivalent, or a GPA of 3.70 / 4.0 or higher.
English Language Requirements: You must have a sufficiently high standard of English to meet the English proficiency requirements (at the above level listed) of the University of Oxford.
How to apply: All applicants must apply for a degree from the University of Oxford. After that, you can apply for the scholarships via the country specific application.
Proof of academic curriculum / transcript (complete or ongoing) of a university degree and any postgraduate study
Curriculum vitae / resumé or list of main activities
Personal or essay statement (including, crucially, a clear statement of what the candidate wishes to study at Oxford and why)
Proof of age / birth certificate / passport
Knowledge of English (where English is not the first language)
Passport Photography
List of referees (usually several are required) who can attest in confidential references the character and intellect of the candidate, including academic, personal, extracurricular and leadership achievements (and who should never include people you are with related)
