In a statement issued on Friday, Segun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, confirmed this.

Thank you for believing in Nigeria and putting your money where your mouth is, the Minister said during a visit to Unicorn’s Yaba campus in Lagos on Thursday. Unicorn is a pan-African investment firm that focuses on innovative ideas, start-ups, and early-stage companies in the technology and technology-enabled sectors across Africa”.
Unicorn provides education, training, coaching, infrastructure and long-term finance to entrepreneurs, start-ups and early-stage enterprises in the technology and technology-enabled industry through its ecosystem model.

He expressed his delight that the company is bringing young people into its ecosystem, including those from underserved communities.
“This is the place where wishes come true. This is where ideas are born and they become reality. Having the young ones, from basic to intermediate to higher schools, to witness the finest of Nigeria and the best of Africa is massive, in reference to the numerous pupils he met at the Yaba campus.,” Alhaji Mohammed added.
He stated the choice to visit is not simply to view the excellent job that Unicorn is doing, but also to help inform the world what Unicorn is doing, adding:” This is why I have come with approximately 25 journalists from various media organizations to see and exhibit Unicorn’s revolutionary work to the globe.
The Minister was subsequently led on a guided tour of the Unicorn’s Yaba facility, during which he met with some of the firms that have been successfully nurtured.
