I am ready to get dirty for presidential ambition – Bola Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, a presidential candidate and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated on Sunday in Ibadan, that no amount of blackmail or intimidation will deter him from running for president in 2023.

“I intend to run for President of Nigeria. No amount of blackmail or intimidation will be able to stop me. I heard somewhere that if you want to battle a pig, you had to be prepared to get smeared, and I’m ready to get dirty…”

Bola Tinubu made the remarks when he paid a visit to the designate Olubadan of Ibadan, Lekan Balogun, at his Alarere palace in Ibadan to seek his blessings for his presidential aspiration.

After months of speculation, Bola Tinubu finally proclaimed his ambition to compete for the country’s president in 2023, according to reports.

After a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, he told the press about it.

Tinubu noted it had been his lifelong dream to govern the country in an interview with State House reporters.

“I’ve told the President about my plans, but I haven’t told Nigerians yet; I’m still consulting. And I’m not averse to consulting. I also haven’t placed a limit on the number of individuals I will consult”.

“You’ll find out soon enough. The unequivocal assertion is all you want to hear. I’ve informed Mr President of my goal, and you don’t anticipate any more than that “He stated.

He further urged Nigerians to get their Pvc for the 2023 upcoming elections.
