Omotola Jalade Ekeinde advises couples on Osinachi Nwachukwu recent story

She was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her now-ex-husband, Peter Nwachakwu.

The singer was suppose to die of throat cancer, but her acquaintances claim she died as a result of an alleged assault by her husband.

Her death has rekindled debate about the rise in domestic violence in relationships.

The actress wrote on her Instagram page that the atrocities experience in particular relationships should not be generalized.

She went on to say that excellent marriages still exist and that people preparing to marry need not be know.

“I’m aware that there are several horrifying stories regarding marriage that scream loudly. But I’m not sure who needs to hear this, so don’t worry”.

“There are over a thousand really loving and thriving couples that do not make the news for every terrible marriage that does.”
