He reaffirmed that his goal is to assist in the development of APGA as a powerful political party established on the strong idea of real federalism and devolution of power, and warned that those who exploited APGA as a mercenary platform to get into politics would have to wait till their turn came.

Soludo also emphasized the need of forming a political party of “believers” based on the principle of “fidelity and transparent” thanking them for volunteering to serve the people of Anambra State and wishing them well.

The Governor however, lamented the loss of the member representing Aguata Constituency II at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, who was gruesomely murdered alongside his aide, Cyril Chiegboka by some criminal elements.

He assured that the perpetrators of the dastardly act would be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.

Professor Soludo stressed that the state’s security difficulties are being committed by criminals who have turned to abduction, murder, and other forms of criminality as a profitable trade, a far distance from any type of political activity.

The Governor also stated that the battle line has been set, and that no spot in Anambra State would be safe for criminals to operate because the government is putting in place severe measures alongside security agencies to face the matter straight on and restore peace and order to the state.
