President of the United States, Joe Biden has delegated complete authority to his Vice President Harris to take over as the country’s leader. This is in response to his requirement for sedation during a regular medical procedure.
Biden wrote to the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate, Patrick Leahy, saying, “Today I shall undergo a routine medical procedure needing anesthesia.” Given the current circumstances, I have decided to temporarily delegate the rights and duties of the office of President of the United States to the Vice President during the process and recuperation time.
