Wike won’t be allowed to transgress line of political civility

The All Progressives Congress (APC) ‘s Breach River State Chairman, Alphonsus Eba, declared that Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike will no longer be permitted to cross the line of political civility.

He said this on Tuesday in response to Governor Ben Ayade’s visit to Cross River, where he reportedly chastised him for allegedly attempting to disrupt the People’s Democratic Party demonstration last Saturday.

Eba said the PDP stormed into the Calabar Sports Club against police advice to hold a rally in the state, adding that Cross River would no longer tolerate such behavior “since the state is not an extension of Rivers State.”

“Nyesom Wike has been a continual meddling invader, and now, we want to say enough is enough,” he concluded.

“He came to stir violence in Cross River State on Saturday, but it required the maturity of our leader and Governor, Prof Ben Ayade, to prevent it.”

“Over time, he intends to bring political cannibalism from Rivers State politics into Cross River State politics.”

“Transgress Riverians will not allow him to cross the border of political civility any longer.”

According to Eba, the state’s young have been emancipated and would no longer tolerate such incivility.

“The Ayade government has released over one million youngsters, and the youths want to inform him that there is no longer any room for him to traverse.”

“We are a peaceful people that are quite respectable and civilized, and we are led by two well-known academics.”

“We want the world to know that the governor, with his level of exposure, education, and political capital, cannot be reduced to a person with intellectual capability poverty,” he stated.
