Nigeria Election

Rotimi Amaechi to declare presidential candidacy on Saturday

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, would announce his presidential ambition during the All Progressives Congress (APC) thanksgiving celebration in Rivers State.

Amaechi, a former River State governor, is to attend the event alongside APC governors, National Assembly members, and key Federal Government officials.

It will be that Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai reveal in March that Amaechi has interest in running for president in 2023.

“Rotimi Amaechi is considering running for president.” He has every right to do so, but I’m not running for office. “I’m not going to be on his ticket,” declared the governor.
