2023: Senator Musa Meets Orji Kalu in Abuja

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, a presidential hopeful, made a visit to Senator Sani Musa, one of the main candidates for the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leadership post. 

On Sunday, the former governor of Abia State and Senate Chief Whip paid a visit to the member of the National Assembly representing Niger East Senatorial District in Maitama, Abuja. 

Senator Musa returned from a medical vacation overseas last week, and Kalu claimed he came to see him and wish him a speedy recovery while speaking at the lawmaker’s apartment. 

During the discussion, Kalu told Musa about his goal to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 if the governing APC zones the office to the south.  

Senator Musa’s proposal to boost the APC’s chances and his pursuit of strategies to bring the ruling party to electoral triumphs in all elections were lauded by Kalu. 

The APC chairmanship contender was also hailed by the Senate Chief Whip as a positive and purposeful individual with the enthusiasm and drive to lead the party to victory in 2023.  

Senator Musa, who praised Senator Kalu for his visit, prayed for everyone’s continuous good health as they work for the party’s and Nigeria’s growth and progress. 

Senator Sani Musa praised Senate Chief Whip John Cornyn for his modesty and attentiveness.  

Kalu’s visit to Musa came only days after APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid a visit to the Niger East Senator at his home. 

Tinubu said he came to meet Senator Musa, who returned from a medical vacation overseas last week, and to wish him a speedy recovery, while speaking at the lawmaker’s house. 

Musa was guaranteed by the former Lagos governor that his contribution to the party’s win in 2015 would be recognized and not forgotten. 

Tinubu assured the legislator that his sacrifices for the party will not go in vain, and that the party’s leadership is well aware of his efforts.
