Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport Maintains Improved Aircraft Traffic

The Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport in Umueri has maintained its strong performance, with increased aircraft traffic and passenger numbers. 

According to information from the airport management, since the regulator, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), approved the airport for commercial operations on December 7, 2021, until January 31, 2022, a total of 376 flights and 11,860 passengers have been recorded at the airport for scheduled and non-scheduled operations. 

Boeing 737-700 or equivalent flights has commenced landing at the airport, thanks to NCAA approval.
