See CAC Joining With NIMC to Offer Services Effectively;

As part of its reform measures for efficient service delivery, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) reports that it is collaborating with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

This was said in a statement released on Wednesday in Abuja by Mr. Rasheed Mahe, the CAC’s Head of Media Unit. Alhaji Garba Abubakar is the Registrar-General of the CAC.  

At the recently finished management retreat in Kano with the topic “Corporate Affairs Commission: Consolidating on the Gains of Digital Transformation,” the registrar-general delivered a speech. 

He claims that the commission’s collaboration with NIMC is well along.   

When the CAC is in place, Abubakar predicted that it could not require signatures to process registration applications as other countries did, but rather just NIN enrollment numbers.  

He said that the commission was blessed with highly talented, committed, and skilled personnel. Who work outside office hours to approve applications from customers. 

Abubakar said that training and re-training of its members of staff in all sectors of its operations would continue to receive priority attention in a bid to achieve its mandates. 

The registrar-general said that the commission would train 700 members of staff by the end of the year as against the 583 training in 2021.
