Covid-19: Nigeria reports 32 new infections on Monday

The Covid-19 death toll in the country remains at 3,142, according to the disease centre, despite the fact that no fatalities were reported on Monday. 

On Monday, the Nigerian government reported 32 new coronavirus illnesses in four states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). 

According to the latest figures issued by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday morning, the country’s Covid-19 infection has grown to 254,352. 

The death toll in the country remains at 3,142, according to the disease centre, despite the fact that no fatalities were reported on Monday.  

NCDC reported that a total of 230,793 people has been successfully treated and discharged across the country, with no backlog of discharges reported. 

According to the data, Kwara State was first on the list with 17 cases, followed by Lagos State with seven cases. 

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported five new cases, followed by Rivers State in the South-South, which reported two new cases.  

While Kaduna was last on the list with a solitary case, three other states, Bauchi, Kano, and Plateau, reported no instances on Monday.
