Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stated that Rivers State Governor Nyesome Wike would never be elected President of Nigeria.
On Tuesday, the priest announced this in a statement issued by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.
Wike would split the People’s Democratic Party if his acts are not addressed by opposition leaders, according to the spiritual leader.
“Governor Wike must also be careful not to split PDP, If he continues to sabotage the PDP’s chances in 2023, the party may be doomed”. Primate Ayodele stated.
“The PDP’s Board of Trustees should check into the problem; else, they will miss it.”
Still on Wike, Primate Ayodele predicted that PDP governors would oppose him, and that the EFCC would investigate his government.
“I see PDP governors opposing Nyesom Wike as well. His government would also be pursued by the EFCC.”
He also told Wike that he couldn’t be Nigeria’s president and that he shouldn’t seek for it.
“Wike should not begin a project in PDP that he would be unable to complete. If he has ambitions, he will not become President.”
On the PDP, Ayodele also cautioned the party’s leaders not to split the party itself.
He predicted that, as a result of the leaders’ actions, a third force may emerge from the opposition party.
“The PDP must be careful with what they are doing; otherwise, they will break the party, and if caution is not used, a third force may emerge from that end,” he stated.
