Due to reaction for the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Vladimir Putin's so-called "hidden daughter" has shut down her Instagram account.

Syria backs Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s decision to recognize two Ukrainian separatist republics as independent states on Tuesday.

“Syria backs President Putin’s decision to recognize the republics of Luhansk and Donetsk and will work with them,” says in a statement released by Syrian Foreign Minister and former Permanent Envoy to the United Nations.

“Syria supports President Putin’s decision to recognise the republics of Luhansk and Donetsk and will cooperate with them,’’ Faisal Mikdad said.

He was cited as stating, “What the West is doing against Russia today is comparable to what it did against Syria during the terrorist war”.

Since the Syrian civil war began in 2011, Russia has been President Bashar al-principal Assad’s partner.

Putin told French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz of his plan to sign a proclamation recognizing the independence of the two pro-Russia republics in a phone call on Monday.

The Donbas area in eastern Ukraine was divided between the two pro-Russia republics.

According to Mikdad, the US and the West continue to support terrorism in Syria, posing a threat to the Middle East and the rest of the globe.
