Chief Willie Obiano of Anambra State received the Vision 2070 Final Report and Recommendations from the Prof. Charles Soludo-led Committee today, March 10th, 2022.

The brief event took place in Awka’s recently opened International Convention Centre.

Prof. Soludo and his Committee were praised by the Governor for a job well done.

The Governor claims that “The formation of this group to prepare for Anambra’s next 50 years was a wise decision. And, by chance, the Governor-Elect is the one who has started putting it into action. As a result, I am overjoyed.”

“For anybody who wants to governor Anambra in the future, this is a guide”, Governor Obiano recommended.

Prof. Charles Soludo, Chairman of the Committee and Governor-Elect of Anambra State, presented the 200-page report, saying that the study’s 50-year development plan will take effect on March 17, 2022.

“Thus, Vision 2070 is another legacy of Obian’s Administration, along with other legacy projects like as this ICC, and we will begin execution from the first day.”

Chief Willie Obiano inaugurated the Anambra Vision 2070 Group in 2019, and the committee canvassed all segments of the population.

The entire Anambra State Executive Council, as well as certain members of the Committee, were in attendance.
