Uzodimma asks agitators to use dialogue to get their points known

The Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma has denounced the spate of assaults in the southeast.

Following a spike in the number of gunmen targeting citizens, security personnel, and government institutions, IPOB has denied any role in the violence.

The organization also encouraged state governments to prosecute the culprits.

Unknown gunmen set fire to George Obiozor’s home in March, the president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo globally.

“Dialogue, not violence, is the vehicle that will carry us to our ultimate goal.” he remarked,

“There is no indication in history that any race ever rose to greatness via war or self-destruction”.

“I believe we should be smarter than that as a people who have survived a difficult and harsh past.”

“No one in Nigeria can dispute that Ndigbo are ardent, patriotic, and dedicated to Nigeria’s unity.

“All Igbos want is a level playing field on which everyone may compete.”
